Sports Science Jobs.in is India's first sports science job board. We connect sports science professionals and students with employment and internship opportunities across the Indian sports ecosystem.

2 What information we collect

When you sign up as a job seeker

• Email address
• Name
• Discipline, location, and years of experience
• Resume (uploaded file)
• WhatsApp number
• Certifications and education history

When you sign up as an employer

• Email address
• Name
• Organisation name
• LinkedIn profile information (if you choose to sign in with LinkedIn) — specifically your name, email address, and profile URL

When you post a job

• Job details you provide (title, description, location, salary range, application contact)

Automatically collected

• Page visit data via Vercel Analytics (aggregated, no personal identifiers)

3 How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display your job listings to candidates across India
• Pre-fill your organisation details on return visits
• Send you email notifications related to your account and listings
• Improve the platform based on aggregated usage data

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4 LinkedIn sign-in

If you choose to sign in using LinkedIn, we request access only to your basic profile information — specifically your name, email address, and public profile URL. We do not access your LinkedIn connections, messages, activity feed, or any other LinkedIn data. The information retrieved from LinkedIn is used solely to create and authenticate your employer account on Sports Science Jobs.in.

5 How we store your data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform hosted on AWS infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

6 Sharing your information

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited cases:

• With service providers necessary to operate the platform (Supabase for database, Vercel for hosting, Anthropic for AI-powered features)
• If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users

Job listings you post are publicly visible on sportssciencejobs.in by design.

7 Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9 Children's privacy

Sports Science Jobs.in is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of any significant changes by email. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated.
